In this July, we Alliance Anti Trafic have been involved in many impactful activities and initiatives. From participating in significant meetings addressing human trafficking in Thailand to launching transformative campaigns for girls in Laos, our efforts continue to make a meaningful difference. For July 30th, the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we also joined the global community in uniting under the campaign “Leave No Child Behind” to combat human trafficking â a cause that AAT deeply cares about.
Here are the highlights of our achievements this month, including inspiring testimonies from our legal staff and a successful case story that we hope will brighten your day. ðŦ
1. On July 16, We Alliance Anti Trafic attended an interactive meeting titled “Strengthening the Participation of Social Partners in Operations to Combat Human Trafficking in Thailand,” organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. During the meeting, small group activities were conducted to brainstorm methods for improving collaborative efforts among representatives from the government sector, NGOs, INGOs, and others focused on combating human trafficking in response to the 2024 Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP Report) for Thailand.
2. We also welcomed students of the Northeastern University from the United States for a visit to our office, sharing insights about our impactful work. We learn from each other through exchanging knowledge and experiences, fostering continuous improvement and collective wisdom. We appreciate your visit and interest in our organization. Together, we can protect girls and women globally!
3. We launched a 5-day online campaign to help transform the lives of 50 girls in Laos by providing them with essential educational resources. We held two online streaming events with Priyanka Annuncia, 2023 Miss Universe Singapore, aiming to raise awareness and encourage the public to help equip the Lao girls with opportunities to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. ðð

This year, the world is uniting under the campaign “Leave No Child Behind” to combat human trafficking. We Alliance Anti Trafic deeply resonate with this good cause. For over 20 years, we remain committed to prioritizing the well-being of women and girls in all our efforts, and protecting them from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
As Ms. Janjira Sukkhaiw, our Mechanism Development Coordinator, emphasizes here in her words, it requires continuous adaptation, learning, and using the latest tools to counter traffickers. Additionally, we need to keep advocating for law improvements to fix the loopholes and prevent traffickers from exploiting girls.
ðŦ At AAT, we leave no one behind. We ensure every girl and woman we protect from sexual violence and exploitation can reintegrate into society and rediscover their dreams. ðŠðĄ Here is one of our case stories recently:
